What is EXPAND?

EXPAND is the Edvantage™ module that provides you with additional levels of detailed data needed to support  expanded district,  school level, and individual classroom analysis. The kind of information required to make high impact decisions regarding sound financial management, improving instruction, and improving learning opportunities.

Who uses EXPAND?

EXPAND builds upon the CORE foundation, by providing enhanced data and analysis for key district and school managers and includes completely new capabilities for financial managers, human resource managers and class-room teachers. Principals, school administrators, operations personnel, career counselors, and program managers use EXPAND to provide the information and analytical tools needed to help address areas such as developing instructional plans for students, identifying potential learning  impediments, assessing effectiveness of previous interventions, and to check learning progress in real time. Additionally, EXPAND’s background information helps personnel charged with improving security, law enforcement, social welfare and juvenile justice programs. EXPAND supports all NCLB and State reporting requirements.

EXPAND gives you the tools to access each students' history, behavior trends, attendance rates, special curriculum progress, program participation history, and previous classroom marks to truly understand each student, enabling educators to better identify and remove obstacles to help advance that student’s opportunity for achievement.  Self-service information retrieval, drill down analysis, comparative metrics, and structured reports are obtained by non-technical users using a guided on-screen dashboard. EXPAND also supports ad-hoc data queries and end-user report development capabilities for more technically advanced users.
