Subject: [Cs] First Encounters with the MPS Data Warehouse
"Wow!"
"Cool!!"
"That's GREAT!"
"I wish I had this LAST year!!"
Who is saying this? And about what??
Believe it or not, these are genuine comments from school staff during their
first encounters with the new MPS Data Warehouse. You too, can
experience the excitement of the new Data Warehouse by going to the MPS
Apps page (type "apps" in your browser bar and press enter) and clicking on
either the dashboard button or the reports button in the Data Warehouse box.
The new MPS Data Warehouse gives you immediate access to data,
sometimes in graphical format, on students enrolled in your building.
Do you want to know which students with disabilities achieved scores of
proficient or advanced on last year's WKCE-CRT? Do you need to know
what this month's attendance is, compared to last year at this time or
compared to last month? Would you like to see a student profile with
current and historical information on schools attended, test scores?
attendance rates? GPA, and discipline?
Are you impressed yet? Do you want more? The attached training guide for
the Data Warehouse reports gives you step-by-step directions (should you
actually need them). You no longer need to take a training class in order to
access the Data Warehouse. Just try it; you'll like it!
